Ideal Photo Guideline
Here are some helpful tips for capturing the best photo of your pet! But don’t stress if it’s not perfect, our dedicated team reviews each order and photo to ensure top quality.
These small steps ensures that the final portrait authentically reflects the essence of your furry friend, preserving those special details that make them truly one of a kind.
Please note that all accessories, including leashes, collars, and harnesses, will be removed from your portrait.
- Close-up shots are ideal. Make sure no features (e.g. ears!) are out of frame - we can't add them if they aren't in the original photo. You have up to 5 uploads per canvas.
- Capture your pet at eye level (they don't need to be looking at the camera).
- Make sure the photo is taken in good lighting (natural daylight is best) and avoid flash.
- Keep your pet still to prevent blurring.
- Photo size should be at least 1500px × 1500px and high resolution (make sure the photo is not blurry).
- Ensure that the fur colour in the photo is not affected by bad lighting. If the fur colour in the photo isn't accurate to real life, the fur in the design won't be either.
